A sports mouthguard against dental injuries

For children and adolescents in particular, a sports mouthguard offers strong protection against needless tooth loss.

In many sports the mouth is hit first: lips, cheeks, tongue and above all the front teeth. Around 95 per cent of all dental injuries happen before the age of 21.

Who it concerns

Not only boxers and handball players. On a skateboard or inline skates, at hockey and at basketball, one fall or one elbow is enough. A sports mouthguard absorbs these forces and spreads them, instead of letting them act on a single tooth.

Custom-made rather than off the shelf

A guard made in the laboratory from an impression sits firmly without pressing and barely hinders speaking or breathing. Ready-made splints from the shop slip more easily – and a guard that is a nuisance does not get worn.
